I was inspired by scenes from classic films shot in wide CinemaScope that allowed for tight framing on the face of the actor while still allowing in contextual details from the background. By the use of a custom viewfinder, extension tubes, and a set focus, I recreated the feel of those images using my Siciliano Camera Works Pannaroma 1x3 35mm panoramic camera.
